area and are all free to the public.

West Dunbartonshire LGBT Officer’s Network
A group of officers who work to raise awareness of lgbt issues in West Dunbartonshire and challenge negative attitudes.  The network has carried out activities locally which have been funded by the Community Planning Partnership. The group sits on Council equalities meetings, and on the Hate Crime Action Group chaired by Strathclyde Police.

Clydevalley LGBT Community Group
The community group is open to anyone living or working in West Dunbartonshire who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and are over 16. They meet twice a month in a local community centre.

Fusion LGBT Youth Group
This youth group and is run by Y-Sort-It meets in venues across West Dunbartonshire. The group is for LGBT young people, their friends and information about activities and when the group meets is on the  Y-Sort-It website and on Facebook.  www.ysortit.com

TYG: Trans Youth Glasgow
TYG: Trans Youth Glasgow is for young people from 13 – 26 who identify as transgender. The group runs every other Monday. The next few group dates are Monday 5th Feb, 19th Feb, 5th March, and 19th March. The group starts at 7pm til 9pm at 30 Bell Street, 3/2. The key contact worker for the group is Michael Richardson his contact is Michael.richardson@lgbtyouth.org.uk

The group aims to support and empower young people as they take part in workshops on transgender issues – including coming out, health and legal issues – sharing their own knowledge, skills and experience and learning from each other.

The TYG is an inclusive group open to any young person who identifies as transgender.
