LGBT Events

West Dunbartonshire LGBT Equalities Network and the Equality Network are hosting a launch event for “Stronger, Safer and Supported - Increasing LGBT tolerance, awareness and service provision in West Dunbartonshire”.

This new research aims to give some insights into the experiences of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender individuals living in West Dunbartonshire, to identify their needs in terms of services including whether these services are available locally, and makes recommendations for improvement.

The event will be held on Thursday 23rd February, 5.30pm - 7pm, Clydebank College, Clydebank

The 26th of January
Hosted by Linda Fabiani MSP, the LGBT History Month team will be joined by Ellen Galford - author and lesbian activist who will tell her story and share her insights about a growing and developing Scotland over the years. We will move on to meet LGBT young people who have given their time and commitment to make an It Get's Better film to support their peers. Finally we will look forward to February 2012 with a sneaky peak and whats to come.

All this will be topped off with drinks, nibbles and a nostalgic look back to the golden years of music with the Edinburgh Gay Men's Chorus.
